Millennial generation or also known as Generation Y, is currently dominating the Indonesian workforce, it is even predicted that this generation will monopolize the workforce after Generation X. Millennial has a unique character and is different from previous generations in the world of work. Millennial has the character of technology savvy, flexibility, ambitious, team oriented, and optimism. They value the freedom and balance of life and work, freedom of innovation, and have hope for career or promotion opportunities. However, currently the millennial generation in the workforce has a higher turnover rate than the Generation X. Millennial is known as the "job hopper", where they like to move jobs and companies, if the companies they enter are not in line with expectations and the value they have. At present the youngest age of the millennial generation is in college and will soon be preparing to enter the workforce. For this reason, it is important to understand the needs and expectations of millennial generations for their work. The purpose of this study is to see how the relationship between millennial character and corporate culture of the company today. Corporate culture is one of the factors that can influence millennial preferences in choosing the company where he will work. The corporate culture used in this study consists of integrity, professionalism, collaboration, trust, and innovation derived from a literature review. This research uses descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using IBM SPSS 23 software. This study analyzes the results of a questionnaire from 252 respondents who are active students at the two largest universities in Bandung (ITB and UNPAD). Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the authors found that most millennials agreed that they did have the characteristics of technology savvy, flexibility, ambitious, team oriented, and optimism. In addition, most millennials also agree that corporate cultural values such as integrity, professionalism, collaboration, trust and innovation have grown in themselves. Based on the results of statistical analysis it is known that millennial character and company culture have a positive relationship or correlation. Therefore, in attracting and maintaining millennial, companies need to understand their character and values, so that the company can make millennial a partner that can help the company to grow and develop. text
