Summary: | Abstrac
The influence of monsoon phenomena to Asian climate is different in intensity and in time scales. Strong effect is found in several location like India and it's neighbor to the crops productivity. The hints of strong monsoon is in the high quantity of rainfall, and weak monsoon with low quantity of rainfall
Sea surface warming in some location in Pacific ocean like `warm pool' influence atmospheric condition and the climate around it. In some study found there is interaction between generating of `warm pool' and monsoon condition such as it's strong or weakness and the time scales of influence.
It is necessary to find some lack in meteorological data from observation, and some method to solve it is using the output data form general circulation model (GCM). In this research GCM R21, 9 levels is used and had been an object of study of LAPAN researchers.
By using monthly data of rainfall and wind velocity of the year 1995, 1997 and 1998, that represent a normal, El Nino and La Nina condition, we doing analyze an influence on increasing of temperature (warm pool) in Pacific Ocean to the rainfall and wind velocity in the north Australian and Indonesian Monsoon. |
