For instance, Surabaya which classified as one of the largest cities in Indonesia, human movement cannot be avoided to keep economy running well or even develop. One of the efforts to facilitate the movement is by building Joyoboyo Intermodal Station. Joyoboyo Intermodal Station is a monorail station that integrated with bus and public transportation. The building consists of 4 stories with forth story functioned as monorail platform, first story functioned as bus and public transportation station, and most of the third & second story functioned as retail. This building designed with concrete and steel composite column and slab, steel beam, and space truss for the roof structure. The designing of Joyoboyo Intermodal Station is using applicable code, such as SNI 1726 2019 about “Procedures for Designing Earthquake Resistance for Building and Non-Building Structures”, SNI 1727 2019 about “Minimum Load Requirement for Building and Other Structures Designing”. RSNI 1729 20XX about “Specification for Structural Steel Building”, dan SNI 2847 2019 about “Concrete Structural Requirement for Building”. The structural system that used by this building is Concrete and Steel Composite Special Moment Frame. Several software was used for structural designing, ETABS for the main building, SAP2000 for the roof, SAFE for the slab, and SPColumn for the column. The designing scope of Joyoboyo Intermodal Station focuses on analyzing the behavior of structures against earthquakes by response spectrum analysis, detailing elements of the main building structures, and detailing roof structures. text |
