Opened in March 2019, the Jakarta MRT Station Point Study was approved by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 1984 with Line 1 Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI, which also passes through Jl. RA. Kartini, West Cilandak. Over time, the economic and social growth around Jl. RA. Kartini, West Cilandak increased with a variety of new developments, causing traffic demand in the area to increase drastically. Thus, PT MRT Jakarta in collaboration with Intiland Tbk. initiate a new MRT station project on Jl. RA. Kartini, West Cilandak. With a land area of about 10.960 square meters, the design location for this elevated MRT station is on Jl. R.A. Kartini, Cilandak Barat, Cilandak District, South Jakarta. The site area is dominated by commercial, residential and educational buildings. Seeing the probability of area density increases in a few years, the concept of 'Urban Detoxification' was adopted which is intended to provide detoxification for transportation users in city spaces who are exposed to massive traffic and overcrowded city. This concept is manifested by several planning approaches, and that is The nature implementation into building design, Multi-functional uses for user needs and entertainment, and Experience in spatial dimensions. In addition, in this project, a bridge is also built which connects pedestrian circulation to the north and south area of the site, which is cut off by the Jakarta Outer Ring Road toll. With this approach, the station project is expected to have a positive impact on the users and residents around West Cilandak to have a better experience traveling by public transportation every day in the capital city. text
