Albumin is one of the proteins contained in human blood plasma. The amount of albumin is quite a lot in human blood plasma, in line with its function in maintaining the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood plasma. At present, albumin is available in injection dosage forms which have been widely produced because of its albumin content has various benefits such as for Hypoalbuminemia patients. Quality assurance of albumin preparations needs to be done to guarantee the quality, efficacy, and safety of the preparations for patient users. For this reason, a good analytical method is needed to analyze the albumin content in the preparation. Through a literature review, collected and then analyzed various examples of albumin analysis methods that have been published so that a proposed analysis condition for albumin can be developed in order to develop albumin analysis methods in albumin injection preparations. Henceforth, it is hoped that this research can add to the inventory of literature review of albumin analysis methods and more specifically can propose a condition of albumin analysis methods so that they can be proven through laboratory experiments later.
