Summary:The amount of machine utilization might increase due to the high production activities in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia, especially the electric powered machine. To maintain the production activities, it is necessary to monitor the condition of production, both production activities and machinery used. One tool that is widely available in the market is an energy consumption monitoring device. However, a system to process the measurement results is not yet available. For this reason, a system to calculate one component of production based on the results of measurements of energy consumption, which is machine operating rates cost is made. The research was conducted starting with a literature study, then determining the components of the machine operating rates cost to be calculated and how to calculate it, then designing the system algorithm, and developing the system so that it can work according to the design. The system is divided into a machine cost calculation module to update data every month, and a web application to access the calculation of the machine operating rates cost for the machine operations. From the testing results, the calculation results by the module and the web application are equal with the theoretical calculation results, and the user interface has also worked according to the design and able to differentiate user access rights according to his position. These results indicate that the system has worked according to the design.
