Description
Summary:Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is an important commodity in Indonesia because most Indonesians consume rice as their staple food. However, rice production is unstable each month, the value of rice consumption in a certain month is higher than the value of production. National rice consumption increases each year in direct proportion to the increase in population. Improvements are needed in the rice cultivation system to increase productivity, the rice cultivation system in Indonesia in general still uses conventional methods. This conventional method causes the fertility of rice fields in Indonesia to decrease. Providing green manure can be a solution to improve soil quality. Azolla pinnata can be used as green manure because it contains good content of N P K organic matter and C/N ratios. Black soldier fly larvae, Hermetia illucens L. is one of the decomposers that converts organic waste through the fermentation process. BSF larvae can remove phytotoxicity and produce liquid fertilizer which is useful and suitable for use as plant fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of the dosage of BSF leachate liquid organic fertilizer combined with the best solid organic fertilizer and live Azolla pinnata for growth and yield of rice var. local Sumedang also changes in soil quality before and after. The research design used a randomized block design (RBD) with a dose treatment of 5 tonnes/ha of solid organic fertilizer, 5%, 10%, 15% liquid organic fertilizer of BSF, and 5 tonnes/ha of live Azolla pinnata, a type of rice var. local Sumedang. Each treatment was repeated 4 times. The results showed that the application of solid organic fertilizer 5 tonnes/ha, liquid organic fertilizer of BSF 5% and live Azolla pinnata 5 tonnes/ha was the best treatment in terms of parameters that had been determined by the productivity of rice var. Sumedang local best at 10.49 tonnes/Ha (GKP) and 8.75 tonnes/Ha (GKG). Changes in soil quality before and after the research resulted in an increase in C-Organic 13%, N-Total 3%, C/N ratio 10%, P2O5 HCl 52%, K2O HCl 62%, K-dd 92%, Ca-dd 48%, Mg-dd 1442%, CEC 25% and 157% base saturation.
