Description
Summary:In the last five years, the government and the private sector have carried out rapid development in the Bandung Gedebage Area as an effort to create a new City Service Center (PPK) from the City of Bandung following Bandung City Regional Regulation No. 10 of 2015. Based on these regulations, the Gedebage area will be developed into a synergy area for higher education, creative economy, commercial, and government centres with a technology concept known as Bandung Teknopolis. It is hoped that this area can become the economic driving force of the city of Bandung. To support economic activities in the area, a mixed-use building was built that combines the functions of a rental office, hotel, and shopping area. Mixed-Use Bandung Teknopolis has a building area of 57,855 m2 and is built on a site of 9,973 m2. The problem in this project is how to integrate various functions inland with high value and limited. Based on these considerations, the issue raised in this project island optimization. The concept formulated in the design of this mixed-function building is "spatial mutualism". In the design stage, the idea is developed into site design, spatial organization, form composition, spatial composition and construction structure.
