Consider to importance of spatial ability, various ways have been done to improve spatial ability and one of them is game. Based on previous research, game could improve spatial ability and reduce cognitive load that affected to performance improvement. So that, this research was conducted to evaluate game effectivity to improve spatial ability based on different of gender and spatial ability. Respondent in this study were 40 participants. PSVT-R was used for measuring spatial ability and NASA-TLX questionnaire was used for measuring mental workload during PSVT-R test. Participants were asked to fill PSVT-R and NASA-TLX in twice, before (as pre-test) and after (as post-test) game training in three consecutive days. Based on pre-test PSVT-R result, participants divided into four group there were, man with low spatial ability, man with high spatial ability, woman with low spatial ability, and woman with high spatial ability. Data was processed by ANOVA mixed design. Result of this study were no significant difference for improving spatial ability and changing in mental load because of game training. But game training showed higher improving spatial ability in lower spatial ability participant than high spatial ability participant. text
