Description
Summary:Children with emotional and behavioral disorders are children who behave less by the environment and their behavior is often contrary to prevailing norms. The official term of "tunalaras" has just become known in the world of special education. The term of tunalaras comes from the word "tuna" which means less and "barrel" which means appropriate. Children with Tunalaras are divided into two types, namely active children who cannot control their emotions and passive children who cannot socialize. Children with disabilities are often referred to as naughty children, because of their behavior that does not comply with the applicable rules. Therefore, there is a need for further guidance, namely through rehabilitation. In Indonesia, rehabilitation facilities are still very limited so that the needs have not been met. The idea of this thesis aims to respond to the problems of the needs of children with disabilities by making a rehabilitation facility that is safe for children, easy to supervise, and does not make children feel pressured. To create this, a behavioral approach is used with design criteria in environmental psychology. By creating a rehabilitation facility with a behavioral approach, it is hoped that this facility can assist in the development of emotions and behavior of children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
