Horror films always have a special place in Indonesian society, and Indonesian horror films development from year after year is very interesting to study and analyze in-depth. But unfortunately, there are no media that can fill this topic to be able to deliver it well to the public, especially young adults who like horror movies, it is necessary to have a publication that discusses the topic because it can gain insight into Indonesian films. Moreover, it can add references to readers and become a media for documentation and appreciation of Indonesian horror films. Therefore we need a media that dares to raise unusual issues by presenting attractive and informative visuals so as not to cause boredom when reading them. Zine media is known as a print media that has fresh and unusual visualizations, generally about themes, zines are bolder and freer when compared to themes commonly raised by other print media. A zine is also one of the print media which is quite popular and is widely collected by young adults today.
