The problem factors come from the health information system components that are yet uniform, the difficulty of exchanging patient’s medical record data in the treatment process, and the system restriction due to Indonesia's infrastructure which still has 48.2% of the population that has not been touched by the internet. Based on these problems, a system with medical record storage media that is able to work both online and offline and is interoperable is needed. Medical record media must also be easily carried by the card owner in the composite data exchange process. Several previous solutions have been proposed to solve the problem. However, several factors such as the limited amount of data that is directly implemented, the need for special devices requirement, and the need for internet on the system are still become obstacles. So that in this study a medical record data system will be developed with a more complete scope of data implementation on storage media that is more adaptable. Smart cards that are portable and secure will be chosen as a medical record data storage media. The smart card used is Java Card classic version 2.2.2, has the ability to accommodate 44 items of patient’s personal data, 7 items of static medical record data, and 20 stack dynamic medical record data which contain 48 items. The medical record data format that is used in this research has been formed by the previous STEI ITB joint research team. Those formats are transformed into a data storage object in the applet that is installed on the java card using the data modelling and data addressing process. The parameters of this data storage object also used in the process of communication between terminals and smart cards using APDU protocol. text |
