Accordng to Mr. Juhali as President Director of PT Kompacindo Area Utama, one of departements which concern needed is Administration Department because business processes which run by Administrastion Department are directly related to external parties of the company. Problems faced by Administration Department are irregularity of customer’s and supplier’s transaction document management and documentation, and several consumer’s order were late to be handled. President Director hope process businesses’ execution at Administration Department can be done faster by prioritizing document management effectivity. For solving those problems, document administration business process at Administration Department was designed to be improved by steps of Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. Steps for business process improvement design are business process identification, choosing prioritized business subprocess, process time analysis using time study, VAA analysis, prioritized business subprocess mapping, and design and analyze improved prioritized business subprocess. Improvement systems which implemented at prioritied business subprocess are estimated able to decrease business subprocess monthly time needed from 83,833.65 seconds become 56,975.97 seconds with 32.04% decrease. VAA analysis’ result show increase of RVA subactivities from 40% to 61.90%, decrease of BVA subactivities from 51.43% to 38.10%, and decrease of NVA subactivities from 8.57% to 0%. text
