Summary: | The Terrace is a mixed-use, fictional building designed to cater the needs of urban
regeneration in Cibadak, Bandung. The building serves residential and commercial
purposes, with 2 basement levels, 4 podium levels, and 3 towers of 6 levels, 4 levels,
and 2 levels. The structural height of the building is 49,4 meters. This final project
focuses on the design of the building’s structure, which adheres to SNI 1727:2013
on Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures, SNI 1726:2012 on
Design Procedures of Earthquake Resistant Building and Non-Building Structures,
and SNI 2847:2013 on Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete. The
building’s structure is designed to be constructed of reinforced concrete. The
structural system selected is dual system consisting of special moment frames and
special shear walls with frames capable of resisting at least 25% of prescribed
seismic forces. Modeling of the building is carried out using CSI ETABS 17. The
structural analysis is done in two-stage in which the structure is assumed to be fixed
on the ground level. From the analysis, the building’s upper structure has
horizontal irregularities type 1a, 1b, 2, and vertical irregularity type 2. The
reinforcement detailing results in 25 types of beam, 5 types of column, 5 types of
shear wall, 3 types of slab, 2 types of staircase, and 1 type of ramp.
