Description
Summary:In this past decade, soil nutrition testing is carried out in the laboratory. Because of this test is carried out in the laboratory, this test takes 40-45 working days to obtain the appropriate fertilizer recommendation. Daemeter is an IoT system designed to monitor the condition of soil nutrient parameters in oil palm plantations. This system will be located in the oil palm plantation. The data that will be obtained can be accessed on the user's android application for the monitoring process and fertilizer recommendations. In this paper, we will discuss the process of data acquisition and processing before sending it to the database. Soil parameter data acquisition is measured using sensors in the form of sensors N, P, K, pH, and soil moisture. The acquired data will be unparsed and checked for errors in data retrieval. This system also will receive data from the server about the sampling frequency of soil testing. The data from this server will be parsed to determine the state of the device. The test results will be compared to the specifications required in manufacturing this product.
