To realize the role of the Kijing Terminal as an International Hub Port, this final project will be discussed about the Design of Container Terminal Operations at Kijing Terminal Phase 1 Pontianak Port. The design of operations scheme is based on the Port Master Plan that has been established by the government. The design of operation scheme includes the design of the dock operation scheme, the design of the stacking field operation scheme and the calculation of capital costs and container handling rates. The design of the dock operation scheme includes the design of the dock area, a combination of moored ships, determination of handling tools and calculation of container handling design capacity at the dock. The capacity of the container terminal dock designed is 2,296,349 TEU/year. The design of the stacking field operation scheme includes the design of the stacking field area, the determination of horizontal transportation tools, the calculation of the container handling design capacity in the stacking field and the horizontal transportation operation scheme. The capacity of the container terminal stacking field designed is 1,026,753 TEU/year. The horizontal tools of transportation used are 108 trucks. Calculation of container handling costs and rates includes calculation of equipment price, calculation of capital costs, calculation of expenses and income per year and determining container handling rates. The calculation of container handling costs and rates is carried out using a total procurement scenario, the initial investment cost is a loan with a payback period of 10 years. text |
