Description
Summary:Oil palm plantations in Indonesia are the largest in the world, so that optimal garden yields can dramatically increase state revenues. Unfortunately, most of the fertilization process in Indonesia is not yet optimal. Observations are usually made with laboratory testing. However, the process of determining the type and quantity of fertilizer through Conventional testing plant nutrients palm oil (laboratory tests) is carried out ex-situ so the frequency of testing is low, and some parameters cannot be calculated such as humidity. Low and frequency of testing some parameters that are not taken into account result in the wrong doses of fertilization so that land production is not optimal. Therefore, we need a tool that can-do soil nutrient testing of oil palm plants in-situ or in place. The results of the test can also be displayed on an interface that can be seen by the operator remotely. This solution has several subsystems, namely: the data acquisition subsystem, the control and data subsystem, the processing and storage subsystem, the communication subsystem, and the interface subsystem. In this thesis, will be discussed further in the processing and storage subsystem, and interface subsystems. These three subsystems obtain data from the data acquisition subsystem first. Then the data will be processed by the control subsystem and the data is then sent by the communication subsystem.
