Description
Summary:There are various kinds of experiments using microfluidic platforms as their media, one of them is the sample processing experiment. In this experiment, there are three substages, which are sample injection, flushing the microfluidic chamber, and drying the microfluidic chamber. But in its execution, this experiment still has problems because some flow parameters have to be set manually, such as filling the sample into the pump syringe, flow duration, and setting a complex series of flow sequences. These can lead to instability and inaccuracy of the running flow sequences in the experiment. Based on these problems, a microfluidic pump system was designed in the form of a programmable micropump to running flows in the three substages of the sample processing experiment. The focus of this report is about the hardware to support the microfluidic pump system, which consists of casing and PCB.
