The number of hospitals in Indonesia reached 1.779 for private hospitals and 1.031 for government hospitals, this also causes the high rate of linens production in Indonesia that can not be avoided, there must be leftover scraps of these production results that are not used anymore. Patchwork technique is the most often technique that used to treat patchwork waste produced , but this technique is limited with geometric shape, this research aims to explore the shape of the patchwork technique using waste of leftover scraps of the production that will be applied to interior textiles in the form of decorative textiles. Period of use for textile interior is longer than fashion, which is expected not to add or minimize the leftover scraps to the landfill (final disposal site), which is a consideration for the exploration results of patchwork techniques applied to interior textiles. text
