| Summary: | Spectacle culture is a part of people's daily lives. In some places, the impact of this culture can be seen such as in the underground music scene. The audience in the scene seemed to have unpleasant feelings to show that they did not care about. In socio-cultural context, this work was trying to explore this phenomena in this side stream music scene. I realize that the topics are vast so this work was starting from ideas which have close links to me and simple. Currently, painting method is related to me and this method used so the broader context in social problems can be seen. I draw the feelings and manner of the audience in the scene in a blue mood that represents unpleasant feelings of people with controlled things. Realism method is chosen to draw reality. Furthermore, to give dramatic accent the chiaroscuro principle in Baroque Art used for this work. Throughout painting medium, this works trying to interrupt public consciousness to this phenomenon. On this final project field observation is applied. |
