Description
Summary:Indonesia is a country with a high level of diversity in life, and has quite a number of species of endemic or native flowering plants. However, due to the prevailing conditions and several factors, Indonesia is feared that it will lose its flora, fauna, and microorganisms. Several flowers are chosen as the National Flower of Indonesia by the government with this in mind. There are three Indonesian National Flowers, namely the White Jasmine Flower, the Moon Orchid Flower, and the Giant Padma Flower. The three types of flowers were chosen for various reasons and stories behind them. Although these flowers are easy to find and widely recognized by the public, however, not many people know that these flowers are the National Flowers of Indonesia. To provide knowledge and introduce the Indonesian National Flower to the public indirectly, crochet techniques are used which can help clarify the shape and characteristics of each flower. The characteristics, symbolic meanings, and stories behind each flower are shown through color, technique and product design. Fashion products are made in the form of fashion accessories, namely bags, so that in addition to attracting the attention of the community, they can also provide knowledge about this endemic Indonesian flower which is designated as the Indonesian National Flower.
