INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/50590 The corridor area of Asia Afrika Street is a tourism center located in the center of Bandung. Its strategic location in the center of the city makes this area packed with tourism and other mobility activities within the area as well as from and to the surrounding area. Recognizing this, roads are an important part of transportation because they act as a medium for moving passengers and goods from one place to another with or without transportation means. The road must also be a space that is safe, comfortable, healthy, green and has unique identity to be ideal. One of the concepts capable of realizing this condition is the livable street concept, which states that the ideal road must be safe, provide health for its users, green, and have a pleasant atmosphere, while also becoming an environmental area that involves the community. Therefore, this research studies whether the Asia Afrika Street Corridor Area has fulfilled the livable street concept. The research was conducted by determining the quality of the road space as seen from the physical characteristics and livability conditions of the area and comparing it with the criteria and indicators of a predetermined livable street. These indicators are then mapped using the importance-performance analysis to determine the conditions of livability and the urgency of what indicators need to be improved. Thus, this study concludes that the Asia Afrika Street Corridor Area could not yet be considered as a livable street, therefore it is necessary to formulate a development in an area that is in accordance with the livable street concept. text
