Summary:Isolated growth chamber is needed in the seedling engineering process so that plant growth is not influenced by environmental conditions around it. In this isolated room, environmental parameters can be controlled to produce optimal environmental conditions for plants. Environmental parameters such as temperature and light requirements in the growth chamber are controlled using air conditioners and fluorescent lamps. In addition, researchers are currently still recording the thermometer and hydrometer readings 3 times per day. This method still has shortcomings because researchers need to be in a growing space to increase or decrease the parameter values using the remote. This recording system is also lacking for researchers because the amount of data obtained is too little to be used in research. Therefore, we need a system for growth chamber that capable of monitoring and controlling environmental parameters of the growing space. This solution is expected to assist researchers in obtaining optimal research results. This solution has several subsystems in its operation, such as the data acquisition subsystem, control subsystem, data center subsystem, Android application interface subsystem, and LCD display interface subsystem. In this final project, we will be discussed further regarding the design of actuators in the control subsystem and product case. The actuator in this product is used to control the environmental parameters of the product, while the product case is designed to maximize the performance of the actuator that has been made.
