As a solution to this problem, CO2 injection can be a good opportunity by utilizing one of the largest gas sources in the Asia Pacific region, namely the Natuna "D" Alpha field. This study will analyze the technical and economic aspects of the gas transportation system from the Natuna "D" Alpha field to mixed gas injection target in Sumatra, an area in Indonesia with a high level of CO2 injection compatibility. The scope of the study includes determining the plateau rate and plateau time from the results of reservoir modeling, designing gas pipelines using the diameter sensitivity method, calculating the output pressure at each point, and calculating the gas price to reach the breakeven point in the 10th year with variations in interest rates. From the study results, it was found that the Natuna "D" Alpha field could produce 4800 MMSCF for 21.17 years with a gas selling price of 1.12 $ / MSCF for an interest rate of 10% and 1.28 $ / MSCF with an additional MARR of 15.04%. Gas will be transported from the Natuna "D" Alpha field to 4 fields in the Sumatra region with a total pipe length of 3009,614 km using pipes by considering the erosional velocity and gas velocity. text |
