Considering the need of traveling by plane, airport infrastructure should be built properly and accordingly to achieve a perfect chain for economic activites in Indonesia. One of the examples is Sultan Thaha Airport which is located in Jambi. The substructure of Sultan Thaha Airport in Jambi should be designed with a bore pile foundation system where 1 pile supports 1 column. The type of foundation used is concrete bored pile with characteristic of ???????????? 30 MPa determining the axial bearing capacity of a single pile based on Reese and Wright (1977). There are 5 types of piles with dimension accordingly PC-1 and PC-2 with diameter 1.4 m, PC-3 and PC-4 with diameter 1.2 m and PC-5 with diameter 0.8 m. The smallest axial bearing capacity is 285 kN and the largest bearing capacity is 15884 kN. Lateral bearing capacity of a single pile is calculated using LPILE software (Reese and Wang 1989) with the smallest capacity of 248 kN and the largest capacity of 9156 kN. The largest settlement that is calculated is 30 mm. Reinforcement is designed using characteristic of ???????? = 420 MPa following SNI 2847 – 2019 regulations concerning Concrete Structural Planning Procedures for Buildings. The pile cap is designed for each type of foundation with the dimensions of 2.8 m for PC-1 and PC-2, 2.4 m for PC-3 and PC-4 and 1.6 m for PC-5.
