Summary: | The population of Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta (KPY) is quite high and will increase every year, is estimated that the generation of fecal sludge will increase in proportion to the increase in its high population. Until 2020, DIY) has only 9 active residential scale wastewater treatment plants (SPALD-T) serving 1,9% of the total population and municipal scale domestic wastewater treatment plants serving 43.9%. As much as 54% are served by a local wastewater management system (SPALD-S) in the form of a septic tank. From the results of observations last January, IPLT Sewon served 14% of the KPY population. The existing condition of IPLT Sewon is only able to accommodate the generation of sludge of 100 m^3/day. Therefore, additional IPLT Sewon capacity is needed. As for the problem with effluent, incompatibility of the results of IPLT processing with quality standards in the Peraturan Daerah DIY Nomor 7 Tahun 2016. It is planned that the Sewon IPLT will increase its service by 50% in 2027 and 64% in 2032 which is divided into 3 twin systems. The type of sludge concentration and stabilization treatment is carried out physically and the supernatant resulting from sludge stabilization is by biological treatment. The selection of sludge and supernatant treatment is based on considerations of efficiency, sludge generation, land requirements, environmental impact, construction costs, operational and maintenance costs, sustainability and simplicity. Based on the analysis, alternative 4 with the screw press as the sludge concentration and stabilization unit and CMAS as the liquid stabilization unit has the highest weighting value among the other alternatives proposed. The processing is equipped with an inlet of a dung tank truck, a sludge acceptance unit, a collection tank, a disinfection unit, a drying area and composting. The total cost of the Sewon IPLT construction costs Rp.41.367.262.269 and for each year the operational costs required are Rp. 6.215.63.160.072. |
