Description
Summary:PT BBHA is a company that contributes to improving the welfare of communities around peat forests by providing jobs and opening opportunities for business partnerships. This research was conducted to calculate the welfare level of PT BBHA workers, determine the welfare indicators model, and calculate the financial feasibility of the community's business as a business partner of PT BBHA. The welfare level data was collected using a questionnaire containing seven welfare indicators (BPS, 2014), the ratio of income as an employee at PT BBHA to the needs of decent living standards. The determination of the welfare indicators model uses multiple linear regression, and to calculate the potential of acacia stands using 10 square plots of 20 m x 20 m size. Financial analysis of business partners is calculating NPV, BCR, IRR, and PP. The results showed that 90.48% of workers from PT BBHA were welfare families, while 9.52% belonged to the poor category. The contribution of income to the needs of decent living standards (DLS) is between 83.17-100.00% (IDR 2,500,000-3,005,582.37.-). The determination of the welfare model using the backward method so that the multiple linear regression equation is obtained Y = 2.566 + 0.990 X? + 0.850 X? + 1.121 X? + 1.092 X? + 1.044 X? + 1.053 X?. The variable that has the highest weight is X?, namely the education variable. The financial analysis of the business partner (Cooperative) of PT BBHA has an NPV of Rp.62,492,439.27/25 Ha within 5 years. However, the NPV of the Cooperative itself is IDR 12,498,487.85/25 Ha. With BCR 7.55, IRR 54.58%, Payback Period for 5 years. Based on their income, the community as a worker is more profitable than the community as a partner. So that the contribution of PT BBHA to the welfare of the worker is greater than if the community were its partners.
