Description
Summary:Card games and some board games are games that use cards as an apparatus. However, there are some obstacles that can interfere with the game but are not corrected in physical package of card games. On this basis, a software was developed to provide further information and also information that was not physically provided in the game. The application utilizes the Android operating system and database services that are connected to the internet. This research uses an Extreme Programming (XP) software development approach which includes Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing process. The data collection technique used was observation of several communities who were actively playing card games in their communities. Based on the procedures that have been carried out, a software is produced that can provide the required card game information, but is not provided by the card game. From the results of testing by simulating the system, the software built can be connected to a database that stores the information needed. But in its development, there are still many features that have not been added, for example, crowdsourcing for new card informations and report for inappropriate pages. Those features can be further developed.
