Description
Summary:The usage of digital world that is very prevalent today supports various sectors on their growth, one of them is commerce with an extensive development in e-Commerce in terms of online activities and user growth. Transitioning from offline to online selling activities certainly requires additional capabilities and competencies in order to maximize the added value of online business for the sellers. Statement of a person’s competence in digital activities can be expressed by the level of digital intelligence. However, the knowledge and understanding of digital intelligence are still foreign among online MSME businesses in Indonesia. Therefore, this research will be focusing on further introduction of digital intelligence through score and level measuring with the possible future developments as well. Digital intelligence measurement will be done by adapting a model from the DQ Institute framework and manifested in the form of a data gathering questionnaire. Determinants of digital intelligence and their scoring parameters are translated and adjusted from the framework so they could be more relevant for online MSME entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The questionnaire is designed to summarize qualitative datas based on respondents’ opinions in the form of Likert scale for further data processing. In addition, demographic variables and moderator variables are included to state differences of respondents' backgrounds that may influence their digital intelligence score. After the measurement data has been processed, further digital intelligence score enhancement strategies will be proposed based on classifications of the resulting scores for each indicator. Online MSME entrepreneurs could fit their own enhancement strategy specifically on each indicator to help increase the score of their digital intelligence. However, future implementation of this research outcome is still doubted to be on target, since the scope of research is still hardly specific.
