Description
Summary:In the development of a humidity sensor, the testing phase is an evaluation for observing the characteristics of the sensor that is being developed. However, in the ITB laboratory, there are still deficiencies in the test method, especially in terms of time efficiency and limitations for controlling temperature. Therefore, a device was designed that could manipulate the humidity and temperature of the test room according to the test requirements in shorter time than the previous method. The subject of this article are the heating subsystem, cooling subsystem, data acquisition on reference sensors, and data acquisition on capacitive test sensors that are part of the overall system. The heating and cooling subsystem has a control system that uses if conditions that make the system turn on or off. Data acquisition on reference sensor is implemented by calibrating the four sensors used and then the data from the four sensors will be used to determine the temperature and humidity conditions on the test sensor. Data acquisition on the capacitive test sensor is done by measuring the frequency generated by the astable multivibrator circuit.
