Description
Summary:This book will explain the design of heating system and electrical circuits on a homogenizer in the form of a ferris wheel incubator shaker. This homogenizer that can homogenized several tubes at once is proposed as a solution to the inefficient homogenization time of several tubes for one set of experiments due to the limited equipment used by researchers in the Chemistry Study Program laboratory of ITB. The homogenization method used was stirring and heating. The heating system uses a heating coil as a heat source and uses the convection method of heat transfer with the air medium in the incubator. The heating system is made in such a way that it can adjust the heat inside the incubator according to user input. The homogenizer uses the grid voltage as its power source which will then be distributed to each component with an electric circuit. Then, also made a PCB to simplify the circuit of components that are directly connected to the microcontroller. From the test results, the heating system can preheat in less than 20 minutes and temperature oscillation is less than ± 5?C.. While the electric circuit can work properly and the voltage at each test point is in accordance with what it should be.
