Regarding to their plan to strengthen their market share, this company continuously improve their competitive advantages. There are two main focus which are product differentiation and cost leadership.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The scope of analysis is limited on cost leadership in term of to be the lowest producer for toilet soap product range within XYZ worldwide group. This vision is implemented by productivity improvement program. Starting in 1994 the toilet soap factory in Indonesia implement productivity improvement by using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as a new working culture.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> That factory has achieve a significant productivity improvement since 1997 up to 2000. The problem that will be analysis is how to set TPM program in the future which is able to continuously improve the productivity.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The productivity analysis is aimed at reducing product cost. Product cost consists of two components which are material cost and transformation cost. Transformation cost means total cost which spend to convert material to become finished product. Transformation cost structure was analyzed to find correlation and contribution level between partial productivity improvement and transformation cost reduction.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Based on level of contribution from each improvement of productivity parameter, it could be set an program of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) which is effective to further productivity improvement and product cost reduction in the future, as a main result of the analysis. It is also completed with a set of suggestion to support implementation of TPM program. text
