Two kind of control strategy that used in this research is feedforward friction compensation and fuzzy logic control. <br /> In this research, feedforward friction compensation controller is implemented by using friction that is gained through experiment. The value of this friction is minimum voltage to move the mechanism. This friction data then arrange become a look-up table that is describing friction variation on the linear motion. <br /> The design of fuzzy logic controller is conducted by using value of input error (e) and difference of error (de) of table position. The value of output controller is voltage input to motor (u). Fuzzy operation then has conducted to this input and output. <br /> Result of designs controller by two kind of this method then implemented on precision straight motion mechanism. text
