Floods are one of the most frequent disasters that hit Indonesia. Based on the trend of disasters in Indonesia over the past 10 years, floods have become the disaster with the largest number of events. One area that often experiences flooding every year is Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict which is located in Bandung Regency, especially Dayeuhkolot Village, being the worst locations hit by flooding. This study aims to identify the forms of adaptation strategies that the community undertakes in dealing with floods and to find the factors that influence the choice of adaptation strategies in Dayeuhkolot Village. The theoretical framework used in this study is the adaptation strategy expressed by Berry John, which consists of adaptation by adjustment, adaptation by reaction, and adaptation by withdrawal. This study is also covers adaptation strategy factors consisting of social factors, economic factors, and environmental factors. The study was conducted with quantitative data analysis methods, that is descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative analysis methods, that is content analysis. The data used in this study were collected using questionnaires and interviews. In this study, it was found that the forms of adaptation strategies of the Dayeuhkolot Village community tend to be carried out in two types of adaptation strategies, i.e. adaptation by reaction, and adaptation by adjustment. On the other hand, the community's adaptation strategy is influenced by social factors, economic factors, and environmental factors
