Description
Summary:The Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) are global development agenda as a continuation of the Millennium Development Goals (TPM) which aim to balance the three dimensions of sustainable development, namely environmental, social and economic. TPB has seventeen (17) indicative goals of which the 11th goal is to create cities and settlements that are sustainable, resilient, safe and inclusive. The targets listed in the TPB 11 have updated the targets in the TPM and included other TPB objectives that are sectoral and elevate the territorial approach (sustainable urban development) as the main prerequisite for sustainable development. So it can be said that the success of the implementation of TPB 11, this can accelerate the rate of achievement of the other sixteen TPBs. The achievement of sustainable urban development is the key to the success of implementing sustainable development itself, so it is necessary to monitor and report the achievement of TPB 11 at the urban level. Indonesia, as one of the countries committed to implementing TPB, has the highest rate of urbanization in West Java Province with Bandung as the largest metropolitan city which is a favorite urbanization destination for migrant communities. This becomes the urgency of the importance of the sustainable development of Bandung City to avoid problems in it. However, monitoring and reporting of the achievements of TPB 11 in Bandung City in 2017 shows a low number, namely 21% and has not been updated. Likewise, the overall achievement of the TPB in Indonesia is ranked 102 out of 162 countries implementing TPB in the world. So a study is needed to monitor the implementation of TPB 11 in Bandung City in realizing sustainable city development and the success of TPB implementation in Indonesia. This research was conducted by identifying TPB 11 indicators on a city scale for Bandung City through content analysis and literature review, as well as identifying TPB 11 assessments and achievements in Bandung City through quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and weighting scoring methods using secondary data from related agencies and planning documents. . This study concludes that the city of Bandung has reached 69.75% of the target to be achieved in 2030 by TPB 11 and obtained the achievement index "D" which means that it is still halfway towards meeting the TPB 11 target. The results of the weighting of city typology also show that the City Bandung has achieved 89.67% of the realization of a safe city, 88.8% of the realization of an inclusive city, 72% of the realization of a resilient city, and 66.67% of the realization of a sustainable city based on the target by 2030. Bandung City has the opportunity to achieve all TPB 11 indicator by 2030, sees that for 5 years or a third of the way from its implementation it has reached 69.75% of the target.
