Summary: | Bike sharing service is one of the uses of bicycles as an alternative means of transportation.
The implementation of bike sharing in Indonesia is currently experiencing various problems,
especially in open environments such as in the city of Bandung. Problems occur due to
several aspects such as a complicated registration process and the lack of additional cycling
features. Therefore we need a system that makes it easier to use a bicycle while having
features that can attract the user's attention.
This research is focused on answering this problem by analyzing the world bike sharing
scheme. Travel applications are also analyzed to determine features that can attract user
attention. The research has produced a mobile tour guide application prototype while using a
bicycle at a tourist spot as a closed environment. This prototype can provide information
about a location in real time when using a bicycle. The registration process is also made
easier by matching the qr code on the ticket to enter tourist attractions with the qr code on
the bicycle. Users can also favorite a location and find out the exact route to reach a
location.
Prototype testing is done by testing functionality by the developer and a sample of users.
Functionality testing is carried out to ensure the prototype is running according to
specifications. The test results by a sample of users show that the user's interest in using the
bike sharing service has increased after trying out the developed application prototypes. |
