The addition of students is greater than the addition of the learning building facilities. Outdoor can be used as a facility for academic activities. It is important to know the thermal comfort conditions of the open spaces at ITB to be used as teaching and learning facilities. Thermal comfort is a condition which can provide a comfortable and pleasant feeling with the environment. Thermal comfort can be quantified using the Temperature Humidity Index (THI) method. THI is a measurement method that can be used to assess the level of comfort. This measurement yields an index by which the effect of a heat condition on human comfort by variable temperature and humidity. However, it is not yet known the level of comfort at ITB from year to year due to research limitations. This study examines the comfort level or THI of ITB for 8 years (2012-2019). In this study, using data from the AWS Meteorological ITB station with data ranges from the beginning of 2012 to the end of 2019. The variables used for this study were only temperature and humidity (RH). Overall, at any time (00:00 - 23:55) the ITB campus is classified at the THI Comfortable level, but there are certain times that the amount of THI Not Comfortable is greater than the THI Comfort level, namely at 12: 00-14: 55. For the monthly period for 8 years, the highest percentage of uncomfortable conditions was in September (45.49%) and the lowest was in July (2.22%). This is because the average temperature in July is relatively low and the average RH in July is also relatively low so that combined into THI will produce the lowest THI (25.44 oC). September is due to the highest average temperature (29.4 oC) than the other months and RH the lowest (56.5%). Even though the average RH in September is the lowest if the average temperature and RH are combined into THI, it will produce the highest THI value (26.85 oC) than other months. text
