Description
Summary:Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a technology that can store all building information in the form of 3D models. Generally, BIM is made for one building object. Thus, to obtain BIM in a broad environment, Combine Building Information Modeling (CBIM) is needed, which is the process of combining several BIMs. The exterior scans were carried out at the Research and Innovation Building or commonly called the Inter-University Center (PAU) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), the exterior of the ITB Central Library Building, and the ITB Tunnel area which refers to the benchmark point (BM) as well as an interior scan of the ITB PAU Building which refers to at the base point of the polygon mapping framework. Processing is done by direct georeferencing , manual filtering, and global registration. Global registration using the Iterative Closed Point (ICP) algorithm is carried out on the part of the exterior building that is overlapping. The quality of global registrations is measured by the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of registers with a tolerance of <7 mm. Combined scans with different reference points are visualized and analyzed for accuracy manually. The scan results of the exterior PAU Building have a difference of 0.023 m in the northing position, 0.174 m in the easting position, and 0.011 m in the high position with the interior scan of the PAU Building. Obtained global registration accuracy on the part that intersects the exterior of the PAU Building, the ITB Central Library Building, and the ITB Tunnel area is 0.005 m. The accuracy of global registration for the interior of the PAU Building is 0.002 m.
