Timah to carry out further exploration on both land and offshore by making Stripping Ship PT. Timah 2020. In this bachelor thesis, a structural strength analysis was done by carrying out a static load analysis with the addition of dynamic factors to the pontoon structure that had been developed by PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Air Kantung (DAK). The analysis was performed using finite element simulation by ANSYS software where there are four cases of loading, namely, case 1 of hogging and maintenance at a depth of 30 m, case 2 of sagging and maintenance at a depth of 30 m, case 3 of hogging and dredging operations at a depth of 30 m, and case 4 of sagging and dredging at a depth of 30 m with the whole cases at maximum swing angle. The results of the analysis are stress and safety factors. In case 1 with 760.441 MPa and 0.309, case 2 with 760.639 MPa and 0.309, case 3 with 760.601 MPa and 0.309, finally case 4 with 760.799 MPa and 0.309. Modifications were done to the pontoon structure by adding reinforcing steel profiles under each anchor winch, under the gantry structure, on the side of the engine room and crew room, stern frame, and midship frame. In addition, modifications were also done by changing the thickness of the plates under each anchor winch and gantry structure. Validation tests at initial pontoon structure and modification result done at case 1 with given results of error consecutively 7.366% and 8.374%. The modification of the pontoon structure results in stress and safety factors in case 1 with 155.504 MPa and 1.511, case 2 with 167.566 MPa and 1.402, case 3 with 158.608 MPa and 1.482, and case 4 with 167.234 MPa and 1.405. From these results it can be concluded that for all cases of loading the KIS pontoon structure construction have met the safety factor of 1.3056 as set by the Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia. text |

The promising potential of tin mining in Bangka Belitung Province encourages PT. Timah to carry out further exploration on both land and offshore by making Stripping Ship PT. Timah 2020. In this bachelor thesis, a structural strength analysis was done by carrying out a static load analysis with the addition of dynamic factors to the pontoon structure that had been developed by PT.

In case 1 with 760.441 MPa and 0.309, case 2 with 760.639 MPa and 0.309, case 3 with 760.601 MPa and 0.309, finally case 4 with 760.799 MPa and 0.309.
