Summary:Engine testing is a testing method used worldwide in engineering field to test engine performance parameter. The implementation of engine testing method requires integration of all test components such as: dynamometer, data acquisition module, coolant temperature controller, and lubricant temperature controller unit. Therefore, system integration is needed to provide adequate testing facilities. PT. Surveyor Indonesia as the only state-owned enterprise engaged in the survey sector has an engine testing facility located in Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia. This facility requires software to control and integrate all test components. This final project amins to answer those needs. Software are developed using C# programming language with MySQL as database service. Data acquisition feature from dynamometer is also embedded to fulfil testing requirements. The software capable of sending commands and receiving responses such as torque and engine speed from the dynamometer. Software is also capable of instructing the data acquisition module to start, pause, and stop acquiring data. Finally, the software can set the set point temperature to coolant temperature controller and lubricant temperature controller.
