entertainment. This captive condition leads to extreme mental and physical stress for dolphins.
Therefore, an alternative is needed, where people can see dolphins without causing harm to
the mammal. In this final project, the writer proposes an alternative that is a semi-submarine
ship. The design process covers determining design requirements, determining principal
dimensions, making lines plans, general arrangements, 3D drawing, and analyzing pressure
that occurs on the semi-s????bmarine????s ????ie????ing por????. These processes ????ill be done according ????o
Non-Conventional Vessel Standard Indonesian Flagged, Rules for Hull by Biro Klasifikasi
Indonesia, Intact Stability Code by International Marine Organization, and other ship design
principles according to naval architecture textbooks. The result of this design consisted of
design requirements, principle dimensions, lines plans, general arrangements, 3D drawing,
and ????ie????ing por????????s press????re anal????sis of ????he semi-submarine.
