Description
Summary:Cibadak is the center of activities of a large number of either Bandung residents or residents outside Bandung. The reasons are because Cibadak is located in the center of Bandung and its advanced infrastructure. In addition, Cibadak has places that attract the attention of visitors outside Bandung, which cause Cibadak to be busy with activities. The building project for Cibadak Building, is a construction project of two towers with two unique podium structures at the base of the tower. The building has also two basement floors for parking. The purpose of Cibadak Building project is to bring freshness to the development environment. It is because Cibadak is an area compact of old buildings which made this area look dull, so this development concept is needed in order to refresh the surrounding civilization. Since this development area is located in Indonesia, there is a high possiblity that an earthquake may occur. Therefore, we need to plan the construction that can withstand the earthquake loads that may occur. The analysis that will be used on the building is the seismic analysis of the response spectrum method and the equivalent lateral seismic analysis. The method that will be used is a two-stage planning method because the building site of Cibadak Building is located in the middle of tall buildings. Therefore, the substructure of the building which is directly supported by the soil retaining structure must be very rigidly planned so that it can be positioned as an overlying structure. This planning is gonna be using a Special Resisting Momen Frame (SRMF) for the superstructure consisting of tower structures. For the lower structure consisting of a podium and basement will be using a double system combining system of Special Resisting Momen Frame (SRMF) and Special Reinforced Concrete Shear Wall . Those two stages will be reviewed against the two-stage requirements contained in the earthquake resistant building planning standard.
