The fire is not easy to extinguish because the land structure of peatland consists of layers of decayed vegetation or organic matter. To prevent the fire, moisture in peatland must be maintained so the organic matter in the soil will not be easily burned. Indonesian government has made a regulation to prevent the fire by telling every palm oil plantation owner to install a water-level monitor in their plantation area. The data in existing water-level monitor needs to be taken directly at the place it has been installed. Maintenance also had to be done periodically. This would cost so much money because the installation area is secluded and hard to reach. To overcome this problem, PeatBuddy, automatic water level monitoring system, is made. PeatBuddy measures water-level by using submersible water level sensor and sent the data to server by using the LoRaWAN module so the data can be seen from Android application in the smartphone. This book will focus on the user interface system of PeatBuddy. This system consists of two sub-systems, Android application and notification. Water-level and battery percentage data from the product can be seen from Android application easily. The user will also receive notification when there is an update from the server, especially when the waterlevel measurement is above 40 cm. This notification will be sent using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) service. A server made by Node.js will check the newest data from the database and give the instruction to FCM for sending notification to the users. text |

Forest fires occur every year in Sumatra and Kalimantan. The fire is not easy to extinguish
because the land structure of peatland consists of layers of decayed vegetation or organic
matter. To prevent the fire, moisture in peatland must be maintained so the organic matter in
