Summary: | Abstract: Ministry of Public Work and public house planned to build a Jatigede water supply system in Metropolitan city of Cirebon. The planning area of SPAM development consists of five districts. Those districts are Sumedang Regency, Majalengka Regency, Indramayu Regency, Cirebon Regency, and Cirebon City. The water needs that have been served in Sumedang Regency, Majalengka Regency, Indramayu Regency, Cirebon Regency, and Cirebon City are 44,84%, 39,69%, 61,39%, 29,43%, and 79,92%. To meet the target of the 2014-2019 BAPPENAS strategic plain about meeting water needs by 100%, the development of SPAM is expected to increase service coverage in the five regencies/cities. According on the analysis of reliability discharge, Jatigede Reservoir is able to produce water with capacity of 1500 L/s for the nest 10 years with a discharge of 2,282 m3/s duration of one day. The construction of SPAM is divided into two stages. The first stage with a discharge of 1500 L/s and at the second stage, the capacity is 3500 L/s. Total population in 2030 for Sumedang, Majalengka, Indramayu, Cirebon, and Cirebon City are 183.419 people, 596.388 people, 952.719 people, 678.780 people, and 2.614.313 people with a total service coverage in 2030 is 16,81%. The Jatigede Regional SPAM Water Treatment Plant (IPA) will be built in Babakan Anyar Village with an area of 3 hectares and 1.5 km away from the raw water source. Based on the analysis of water quality at the Water Quality Laboratory of Environmental Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology, the parameters of COD, BOD, Turbidity, Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Fecal Coli, and Coliform are not in accordance with PP 82 of 2001 quality standards on Water Quality Management and Permenkes 492 year 2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements. The alternative selection method for processing configuration using weighted scoring method and the selected unit is a dual media quick sand filter, disinfection using Chlorine, Clearwell, and sludge treatment with Sludge Drying Bed. According to the economic analysis, the net present value is bigger than 0 and benefit cost ratio is more than one. Because of that, this project is economically profitable. |
