The differences in size and composition influence the physical nature of particulate that associated with the toxic effect on human health. Indonesia, as a developing country with the limitation of air quality monitoring infrastructures, hold a big potential to apply another alternative measurement tools that still affordable. One of the low-cost air quality monitoring tool with light scattering method is Alphasense OPC-N2. This study was a part of UDARA research, focused on measuring PM10, PM2,5, and PM1 concentration in 5 different locations by using 3 Alphasense OPC-N2s, two instruments are new (OPC 2 and OPC 3) and one instrument had been previously installed (OPC 1). The outcome of this research were to evaluate the precision of the instrument and to analyse some possible factors that affecting the precision performance. Evaluating precision is important since precision is one of the quality control aspect that should be fulfilled by measurement instrument. The descriptive statistics analysis of all monitoring data shows that each location had large distribution data with right skewness. The precision between OPC 2 and OPC 3 was reviewed through CV value and had the result as >50%, while the precision of all OPCs was observed through Anova and had the result as reject H¬0. Those two results represent that the Alphasense OPC-N2s used in this study were not precise. This research also evaluated the durability of OPC 1, which has been installed in sampling location about 2 years, by comparing the measured annual median of 2018 and 2020. text
