Mental disorder is one of common problem occured in Indonesia especially in Jakarta as the capital city and one of the bussiest city in Indonesia. The main factor from this occurence is the population density, high traffice jam, stress from work, and some other life problems found in big city environment. Mental disorder itself has many form like Depression, Anxiety, PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder), Bipolar Disorder and more. Most of the patients in Indonesia lesslikely to consult their mental problems to Psychologist or Psychiatrist because of the negative stigma upon mental problem and craziness, even if both are different in state but most people treat them the same. There are many form of treatments for stress related mental health problem in the world that treat both physically and mentally that aim to bring back the life’s quality to the sufferer, and one of the program uses nature elements as the treatment for the patient. Nature gives many positive effect toward human because that is where human come from thus that is the cure for human, and that is where the idea of mental treatment based on nature. The elements of nature like air, water, earth, plants and also it’s visual scenery could give form of recreation that can relaxing human mind and body and decrease stress amount from the human. Therefore the research for Mental Disorder to avoid mishandling by creating correct treatment like Mental Rehabilitation Facility that focused on handling the Mental Disorder patients based on Ecotherapy that can be used as a complementer therapy to neutralized the condition in Jakarta with it’s population density with concrete building everywhere and less green area. With the avaibility of this facility could accomodate the needs of Jakarta citizen in the process of curing their mental problems and thus the number of Mental Disorder in Indonesia could be decreased and create better quality for Indonesian people.
