Description
Summary:In terms of quality, 3 issues are being faced by the automotive world are problem management, increasing customer requirements and the complexity of the quality management system (QMS). This research focuses on the QMS duplicating problem caused by the application of several standards, namely the Quality shopfloor management (QSFM) as an internal standard and ISO 9001: 2015 as an external standard. This study aims to integrate the QSFM and ISO 9001:2015 into an integrated Standard and conceptualize its implementation framework. QMS integration is carried out using the element based / component integration method with the aim to obtain a synergy, the integration is independent so that the integrated standard can be used at any time not just on certain projects. The integration steps are obtained by combining 3 refference models. Integrated standard verified by experts using the peer review method based on structure verification method. The implementation framework developed in this study: (a) High Level Structure (HLS) which is an overview of integrated Standard terminology following the annex SL, (b) Business model which is an Integrated Standard position in a company's business processes and (c) Integrated activity model to describe integrated activities process. This research adds a study of Toyota QSFM and ISO 9001: 2015 integration, resulting an integrated Standards through 10 integration steps. The integrated standard consists of 7 clauses with 28 sub-clauses (6 sub-clauses complements the QSFM with ISO requirements and 22 sub-clauses containing QSFM components). Integrated standard provides management tools to make improvements required by the ISO and to achieve Jikotei kanketsu. The integrated standar comply with current standar, implementation of integrated standard does not change procedures and shopfloor documents but it will eliminate the duplication of QMS implementation and potentially reduce the involvement of personnel by 115 personnel a year in TMMIN. Integrated standard makes the implementation of QMS becomes more effective and saves resources.
