PERUMDA Air Minum Toyowening is each company whose service meets water needs for the community in Surakarta City. PERUMDA Air Minum Toyowening divide of area service to 3 areas, in the north area, the central area, and the south area. The water resource from Cokrotulung Spring, and 2 of WTP (Water Treatment Plant) for Bengawan Solo River Water). Semanggi Village uses resource water from Cokrotulung Spring, but because of the distance between Cokrotulung Spring to Semanggi Village about 25 km, this makes a pressure less so this makes water distributed less too even some don’t get water. Therefor in 2018 Semanggi WTP’s get start to meets water needs for the south of area service include Semanggi Village. Debit in of 35,70 liter/second, but debit received by the customer only 20,35 liter/second, this makes trouble because the value of water loss in Semanggi Village until 43% is beyond the standard tolerance NRW PDAM Nasional amount of 20%. Two alternatives to the optimization of system distribution networks. The chooses alternative is the alternative who get meets most design criteria. Based on these considerations, the best design alternative is alternative 2 with a loop system. After getting the best design, form the District Meter Area (DMA) to reduce the value of water loss. Based on the amount of house connection in each zone, and the mark topographic which is easily seen to the boundaries DMA. Get 5 zones or form DMA in Semanggi Village.
