In this regard, there are government efforts to increase resilience in the national energy sector by targeting changes in energy consumption patterns from non-renewable to renewable energy. These efforts are contained in the National Energy General Draft in government regulation No. 79 of 2014. To meet these targets, reducing the use of gasoline-fueled vehicles and replacing them with electric energy-based vehicles is one of the government's programs. Therefore it is necessary to conduct research related to the preferences of electric motorcycle product design in compliance with the wishes of two-wheeled users in Indonesia. This is because the design is one of the important parameters for consumers when they want to buy a motorcycle. In this study, the Kansei Engineering method is used with qualitative and quantitative approaches and semantic differential with a quantitative approach to obtain design direction data through scientific processes. The number of respondents in this study was 112 people who were divided into motorcycle users and not users in the cities of Jakarta and Bandung. The results of this study indicate that by design, respondents want a total design that looks fun (playful) and masculine (masculine) but still has a compact (active) and active (active) element. Besides, the design of an electric motorbike must also have the elements of a large scooter motorcycle, which has high functional value with a two-seat design and the impression of heavier dimensions going forward to give the impression of masculine (mass-forward). This research was designed as an initial process in research and development of electric motorcycle products and can be developed in subsequent studies. text |
