Description
Summary:Caveline can affect the major stability in an underground mine with each movement. In this study, analyzed the extraction level stabilitaty panel using a numerical approach with the finite element method with critical strain.. In this case, the tunnel has types with different main stresses according to field conditions, ?1 57 MPa, ?2 = 35 MPa dan ? 3 = 27MPa with any different direction of each data. The stability analysis shows that the value of the strain on the roof and walls of the hole using the finite element testing method is 0.080% and on the left and right of the opening holes is 0. 182% where the strain value is <1% (PT.XYZ opening hole stability criteria) The test results using the finite element method show relatively stable conditions at the underground mine extraction rate of PT XYZ with dimensions that match the openings. However, if small strains are correlated with the potential for rock explosion occurring at the extraction level, it appears that there is a possibility of heavy rockburst. Further research is needed regarding the potential for rock explosions in order to provide suitable support recommendations because the rock strength will continue to decline.
